PUBLIC NOTICE
SPECIAL MEETING OF THE LAND USE BOARD
Fredon Township
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Land Use Board of Fredon Township, County of Sussex, State of New Jersey, will hold a Special Meeting on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at 9:00am at Fredon Township Municipal Building, 443 Route 94, Newton, New Jersey 07860
The purpose of this Special Meeting is to review Ordinance 2026-02, as referred by the Township Committee pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-26, entitled:
“An Ordinance of the Township of Fredon, County of Sussex, State of New Jersey Deleting and Replacing Article IX of the Township Code Entitled ‘Affordable Housing’ to Update and Implement Affordability Controls, Administration, Mandatory Set-Asides and Funding Mechanisms Consistent with State Law.”
The Land Use Board will review the ordinance for consistency with the Township Master Plan and will prepare and adopt a report to the Township Committee. Formal action may be taken at this meeting.
A copy of Ordinance 2026-02 is on file and available for public inspection during normal business hours at the Office of the Municipal Clerk, Fredon Township Municipal Building, 443 Route 94, Newton, New Jersey.
This notice is provided in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act, N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et seq., and the Municipal Land Use Law, N.J.S.A. 40:55D-1 et seq.
