Mr. Olsen stated that he would like to move right into the Public Hearing section before we started with agenda items. Jessica Jansen-King from the Fredon Township Parent Teacher Club stepped forward. They would like to appeal and resolve the Strike 2 that they received from the Recreation Commission regarding their event held in February 2024. The PTC is a complete volunteer-based group and that they do not agree with any statements made in the letter regarding the violations that occurred at the February event. Coordinator Usinowicz stated that the Facilities Use Handbook is under review and that once it is adopted, all previous Strikes will be voided. Chair Deitz stated that moving forward there needs to be clear and precise guidelines regarding the use of the Civic Center. Many revisions have been made by the Recreation Commission and forwarded to the Township Committee for review. The PTC would still like to have Strike 2 officially rescinded by the Recreation Commission. All in favor. So moved.

Mary DeLucca was present to ask about creating an outdoor Pickleball Court, along with possibly adding an evening time slot for those who cannot make the current time during the day. Mr. Olsen stated that it would be a big undertaking to create courts at Lodestar, but one that he believes would be a positive addition to the Community. Tabled discussion for a later date.
